How can I in FF 57.0 disable the last visible tab so that the page displays without wasting space for the 'tabs' area? The plugin is not anymore compatible.

What is the 'tab' bar for if there is no other tab than what's actually visible?
It's an annoying waste of space and I want the last and only existing tab to make the tab-bar invisible to regain space.
The plugin which solved that 'problem' is not any more compatible.
