How can I prevent Firefox from opening a security device dailog window when one is already open?

Firefox apparently needs some self awareness coaching. If you have a master password to protect your on-line logins, Firefox will open a dialog box at some point after starting asking for you to enter the master password. I personally would prefer it did not ask until needed. However, this is not my primary issue. If you open Firefox and immediately go to a site that requires a login, the security dialog window pops up. The really frustrating thing is Firefox will open the automatic window while you're entering the password into the first window. You would think there would be a tiny bit of logic that goes something like:

Open security dialog

is a security dialog window open now?
   if not - open one
if so - do not open another, let the poor schmuck enter the password in peace

I would be grateful if this could be implemented.
