Whenever I click on a unread email, it is very slow to open. My guess it is 30 seconds or longer. Read emails open instantly. When writing a new email it is very fast, it is slower when forwarding an email maybe 20 to 30 seconds. I have all addons disabled. I had also disabled the lightning calendar function but that had no effect. I have been using Thunderbird for years now on the same XP computer with the same McAfee anti virus and had no problems. This just started a few weeks ago. I did try turning off Mcafee but that had no effect either. Thanks for your assistance.
