is 'hello'available for 3G, phones,w/wifi?
I've a verizson,LG, 3G, phone,w/wifi. could I use 'hello' with/from my phone? would I have to install firefox as default browser? please, pardon my ignorance, I'm an entry level,3g, phone, and and computer, user.

Seburo is right. But you can make video and audio calls using webrtc the same tech that Hello is using . Connect to https://apprtc.appspot.com

I have had a look into this and Firefox Hello is currently only available through desktop versions of Firefox.
This is a service that is still being developed so this may be something that moves to other Firefox platforms in the future.
