I have since a few months. I made a lot of updates since this time. All drivers Software are actually. I tried to deactivate all apps. I made a new firefox installation. I tried a new profile. Everytime firefox chrashed again. Last chrash-id : bp-ef94a9f6-7329-403d-ad90-852e62160113

hi MichaD, please try this & see if it can address those crashes: enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named media.fragmented-mp4.ffmpeg.enabled. double-click it and change its value to false and then restart firefox once.

Many Thanks, it solved the problem. But why, on my other Ubunt Instalation on the same ThinkPad I have it on true and it works too? Vielen Dank

this crash/bug may have been related to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1233429. unfortunately i know too little about linux to undertstand why it might have been triggered on one particular system only...
