Thanks for the response, Gert. Here's what happens: I I go to the Apple Store, hit "Get" then "Download" but nothing happens in either case. What do I do now?

Can you download other apps from the Apple iTunes Store? I like to know whether this problem exists only with Firefox or with all apps.
