Desktop icon not working
I installed thunderbird on windows 7 32bit and after getting it all set up, the desktop icon now does not work. Clicking it does nothing. After a computer restart it works, but once I close Tbird it goes back to not working.

If you use Windows file explorer to navigate to the Thunderbird program files, (In Win 7 - C:\Program Files(x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\) and double-click the file thunderbird.exe does Thunderbird open?
If it opens in file explorer, you should delete the present shortcut on the desktop and create a new one by right-clicking the 'thunderbird.exe' file and choose 'Create Shortcut' in the context menu.
