Looking for a SSH Client for Firefox OS - anyterm mobile mods
I have installed the 'anyterm_firefox_os_extension_1.1.29.tar' extensions into my web server, and Firefox on Android now presents the virtual keyboard, but for every character typed, the keyboard goes into 'Shift'/CAPS mode. Hitting the Shift key gets it to lower case for 1 character, but suspect that is messing up the text being sent, especially in the login 'password' field.
Any ideas how to get the virtual keyboard to come up and stay in lower case, with no autoconversion to upper case, and also no autocompletion in case that's on too?

There isn't one yet :(
There also seems to be no stable JavaScript library for ssh clients yet, so building that app would require a lot of time and effort.
Tested Anyterm on iPad with Safari, and it works very well with an external keyboard, and works with the virtual keyboard once you get it to appear; no problems with upper case characters. I'm guessing it would also work on iPhone with Safari.
Well, you have to host anyterm yourself. If you can do that, you can also access it via Firefox on Firefox OS. This is not an App though. What is your question exactly?
I am hosting Anyterm on our web server. What I'm looking for is SSH access over HTTP/HTTPS, and Anyterm works fine if the client has a real keyboard, like a laptop. The problem comes with phones or other devices with only virtual keyboards; even with the Firefox extensions, I can't get it to work with Android, in either Firefox or Chrome. It does work with an iPad/Safari, with both a real keyboard and the virtual keyboard.
Ah, now we are getting somewhere. This is a forum for Firefox OS, not Firefox for Android. But when anyterm also won't work with Chrome, I'd guess it as a bug in anyterm anyway. I would open an issue in their bugtracker...
Thanks - I was pointed to this forum, but clearly not the right place.
