How to go back to old "Move to"?
Seems like forever, when I click on "Move To" the program provided a drop down list from which I could select the target location for my move.
Lately, however, there's been my previous move locations and a 'fill in' box.
I want to go back to the old way - have I changed something to get this new system?

Hmm, is that in Thunderbird?
(Right now, your question is under Firefox, so if it's about Thunderbird, a moderator or admin can move it.)
If it's in Firefox, where you are right-clicking?
Yes, this is about T'Bird - Sorry, I thought I selected T'Bird Forum.
Would someone please move it to the T'Bird forum?

Where did you move it to? I cannot find it!

Have you added or removed (or re-enabled) this add-on? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/thunderbird/addon/quick-folder-move/?src=api Your "move to" dialogue looks like the one I get when this add-on is enabled. Why would you want to remove it? Getting the computer to search for a folder by typing its name seems to me to be a whole lot more efficient than thumbing through lists myself.
I don't have that add-on installed. I downloaded it - I was hoping I could disable it that way but no!
Two reasons I don't like it: On my machine after several moves, the dialog box won't work anymore and I have to restart T'Bird! The second reason is that I have to type part of the folder I want - then search for what I'm looking for - that means I have to take my hand off the mouse and type - my way I only use the mouse.
But the main question: how do I get back to the old way of doing things!

Well, what add-ons do you have?
I have installed the following:
Colorful Tabs Lightbeam Session Manager Tab Mix Plus WOT
It started after I installed the latest version (38.0.1).

In Thunderbird?
Yes - ThunderBird.
What was the old way your asking for? move -> ?
Would customize and adding file to your bar do the trick?
