Problem accessing a specific HTTPS site

I'm experiencing problems connecting to the https://backend24.aha.ru/ site using Firefox ESR 38.2.0. FF displays the following error: Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to backend24.aha.ru. SSL peer was not expecting a handshake message it received. (Error code: ssl_error_handshake_unexpected_alert)

It seems that something has been changed in the Firefox codebase since the previous release belonging to the ESR branch. I've tried to play with some SSL-related options including the OSCP but with no luck at all.
