Call notification during bluetooth headset connection

I have an Alcatel Fire E with stock 1.3 FFOS (currently I'm unable to upgrade to 2.0 via FOTA as it sais that there are no updates available, contacted with Alcatel about this issue today).

So the problem persists on 1.3, when I'm connected to my bluetooth headset (ordinary samsung hm1200). In case of an incoming call, the phone does not ring, only the headset indicates the call.

This is a problem as if the headset is not plugged in to my ear, I miss the calls.

Actually I miss almost all the calls while driving, as I only wear the headset during the calls.

Is there a workaround for this, or is it corrected in 2.0?
