Firefox crashes when i press Space to clear text in an email
Okay, here's what just happened. I go to type up an email response , i usually go Ctr+A to select the entire text when i'm responding and i click the Space button to clear it, and firefox crashed. Now.. that's never happened before and it kept happening everytime i tested it. Has that come up before? What could be making that happen?

Does the spacebar crash depend on the volume of material being cleared? Not that you want to spend a lot of time crashing Firefox to pursue this further, but in case you do notice any pattern...

I don't think it matters one way or the other, I think it's the content i.e. the banners

Could that create other issues?

The banners on the page? Currently there is a work around it seems to use the delete and spacebar buttons. However in pursuit of the cause of the crash finding a pattern or anything that might be different from expected behavior seems to be what is looked for.

I'm not sure i understand the question, The banners are inside the email and i just always click on space to clear their email and start writing a new email clean.
Could it be some option in about:config that i've changed months/years ago? I know i've changed 2-3 of them, but shouldn't be anything important. But i'm just thinking what it might be and if i could just find and reset any of them

Okay sir, i have an answer to your other question Changing the profile still causes a crash within the new profile
Also i think i tested turning off avast antivir, and that still didnt work
Also, this issue is the same on two different PC's
I also cleared any malware etc

It actually surprizes me every time it happens because i don't usually use the web form, i mostly use thunderbird, but because i'm so used to clicking space, it's surprizing every time it happens. But the issue is it might be a wider problem somehow, but even if it's not , i do want to solve it ,yes
Do the crashes only happen if you click the space bar or also when you press the Delete key?
What font is used if you right-click and open the Inspector?
Does it make a difference if you select another font?
You can try different default fonts and temporarily disable website fonts to test the selected default font.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced
[ ] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

Hi corel , do i have to be on the email to change the font ,or just in general i should change the font on any page?
You need to do that with the text that makes Firefox crash.

You might have to type with the different fonts individually to eliminate which one might be causing this.
