Firefox hangs when I try to attach a file from my PC to any website.
Basically, when ever I click to add a file from my PC to any website or even if I try to launch an .exe I just downloaded from the download manager, my firefox hangs forever and I'm forced to end task.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode
While you are in safe mode, see if you still have the problem.
Also; Firefox Options > Advanced > General.
Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
In safe mode the problem is no longer there. Now what does this suggest is the root of the problem?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode disables all your add-ons and some of the options. This is what to do; Manually disable some of your add-ons. Check if the problem is still there. If it is, disable some more. Continue until the problem is gone. Then re-enable your add-ons except for the last group. If the problem stays gone, you know where the problem is. Please note that it could be that two add-ons that don't work together.
Tried and the problem still persisted. Even with no add-ons firefox still hangs when booted in to normal Windows 8.1. But then I booted into 8.1 safe mode with networking, the firefox no longer would hang when attaching files.
Also I apologize as I realized that you meant Firefox safe mode and not windows safe mode. As I'm new to support, I didn't realize that you had a link in your reply.

Also I apologize as I realized
Don't worry about it. If the problem was still there with Firefox in safe mode, I would next have had you start your computer in safe mode. So, you saved us both a step. As to the mal-ware, run as many of the above programs as you can. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
Even though I had been running Malwarebtyes and avast, It seems like AdwCleaner is what found the problem. I did go down the list one by one and Adw caught it. Thank you again for your support!
Yea, those things are very sneaky, aren't they.?
