Why do my profiles no longer work? I can no longer run separate profiles at the same time. On selecting internet i.e shortcut on my desktop, while firefox is running, it simply opens another tab with that profiles home page again. I can no longer select an alternate profile

If there is already a Firefox process running then you need to use the-no-remote command line switch if you want to open another Firefox instance with a separate profile.
