Had Shockwave.com bookmark for years with no problems until yesterday. I started having this problem a couple of days ago. I was able to access the site by going to: http://secure.shockwave.com/home.jsp It does not work just to enter "secure.shockwave.com". Hope this helps!

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
