firefox crashes when I click on tools, options (attempting to sync). any clck on a menu item (even in safe mode) stalls firefox and I have to restart it. Help!
Recently upgraded to Firefox 5. Today registered to sync with mobile devices (namely my desk top to lap top). The lap top works fine. When accessing Firefox 5 on my desk top now, I can browse other sites and click on the links, but as soon as I click on Tools, then Options, it freezes. I tried this in safe mode with all the bell and whistles disabled (I don't use many anyway--they are too invasive) and received the same result. I've sent the error report each time. I've uninstalled all of Firefox 5 and reinstalled it several times and received the same result. I prefer Firefox, please help me in an effort to continue using Firefox on my desktop.
