I cannot enter letters in password box on bank log in page, numbers are accepted

When entering passwords on my bank or building society log in page the password box will not accept letters but will accept numbers. This has happened before, about 6 months ago but the problem went away until today.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
