No other browser or software is behaving as Firefox regarding playing a tone if I select a menu pull down or Right click on a tab etc. The answers regarding Sounds from the internet do not correct this as I've already disabled Windows tones. This is specfic to Firefox only. I've tried shutting off extensions and restarting the browser in safe mode or troubleshoot mode. The browser still plays tones with mouse clicks. If I silence Mozilla with my windows area then I can't listen to video audio such as youtube. Toggling audio off and on is annyoing and was never necessary before. This is must be a software issue within the browser. Why the tones have suddenly begun when they never have before is a mystery. I don't get tones anywhere else. I can't believe Firefox doesn't have a simple toggle within it's own software. It needs one now.
