I would like to be able to download YouTube videos.

Is there a Firefox add-on that will allow me to download YouTube videos onto my MacMini?

I tried Video DownloadHelper and YouTube Video Downloader and didn't see any action.

Do I need to setup settings a certain way to make it work?

What are the steps to make it work?

There are thise on the Addon page or separate software that can do them or paid software. Firefox by default can't download YT videos because of the site protections. You have to look at those software and decide which works for you.

Please be more specific which software or apps work for MacOS 15.2 downloading YouTube videos. Thank you for telling me the FF add-ons can't download YT videos.

You can always search online for programs to do that thar matches your OS that will download YT videos.

I downloaded the two main add-ons: Video DownloadHelper YouTube VideoDownloader

Neither of these add-ons accomplished the ability to download a YouTube video.

So markwarner22, do you know an add-on or separate app that can easily download YouTube videos?
