Hello all,

Under Lineage OS v19.1 for Pixel 3a, no OpenGapp or alt installed

For Firefox Android v106.1, location is enabled for Firefox under App permission

when you allow the website to access GPS within Firefox eg Google Maps, you will see the green dot on the top right of the phone like it is using GPS for around 3 -4 seconds and then it will vanish. Within Firefox it will just keep spinning like trying to get location.

It does not matter which site you use, other website does the same.

However if you use the default browser within LineageOS, the GPS works fine with Google maps and others.

It looks like a Firefox bug but I need confirmation. thanks.

Hi

I do not have access to a Lineage OS device to be able to test this, but there is no harm in filing this as an issue for our developers to look into. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.
