especially on startup, i get two 'windows' open. that is, instances. it happens because sometimes i click on firefox and nothing happens. if i decide too soon that it is not going to load, i click again and it then loads twice, and i get the nonsense about firefox already running. if this cannot be fixed, i would like to select allow only one instance to run as VLC offers.

I would like to be able to have two rows of tabs so things did not get so cluttered, but only if it is something like f8 to switch. since dos was squeezed out, nobody is using the f keys anyway.  :(
