Many sites do not use HTTPS because their users have not demanded it, and their users may not really care because they are not exchanging sensitive data with the site. Of course, for anyone who re-uses passwords on multiple sites, it's a problem when any of their sites fails to secure their login pages because that may leak data which can be used on important sites. So I think it's an issue to raise with the site.
