How can I add a cookie exception without http://?

Adding an exception to cookies now always adds http:// to the start, unless you start it personally with https://. But, this doesn't help with, for instance, the MEGA add-on, which has a url that starts with mega:///, used to access the download. The add-on works fine with cookies globally allowed, but I can't make an exception for it specifically because it's not really a url. Is there anything I can do?
