@font-face not working in latest FF, Chrome, or Opera. Text is rendered using fallback fonts!

Hi,

On a few pages of our website we have used a web font for effect using @font-face in our CSS. When viewing these pages in FireFox 46, Chrome 50, or Opera 36 on the desktop PC the chosen fonts fail to load and render using the fallback font. Weird thing is they render correctly in IE 11 on the PC (go figure, I've always rubbished IE!) and Chrome 50 on the mobile.
I have scoured the web in search of an answer and have tried many suggestions and checked all suggested settings in FF's about:config are set correctly and am confident the CSS @font-face syntax is correct and is called correctly. For good browser compatibility we have the web fonts in the following formats: eot, woff2, woff, ttf, and svg.
I had given up all hope and was going to resort to Google fonts but found when viewing their fonts that none of them were rendering correctly either. Apparently Google sends an @font-face to FireFox so it can render the font(s) correctly! Either every PC I test our page rendering on has a broken browser (except for IE!) or there is a problem here. Have tested using four different PCs so far, however they have admittedly all been varying versions of MS Windows. Will try it on a friend's Linux box over the weekend.

I really hope someone out there can help. Thanks, Ray
