Downloaded a pinterest add-on deleted it but it still pops up.

So through firefox add-ons I downloaded a pinterest button. But what it would do is randomly open a weird page which was black with a bunch of pinterest buttons on it can't remember what else. So I deleted the add-on but it still does it. Now when I just turn on my computer not even on the internet a box pops up saying "share button for pinterest type error:ald is undefined 1192" How do I fully delete it?

Such an error is usually caused by an installed extension that isn't working properly.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
