Firefox no longer letting me log into Google

I have migrated to a new iMac running OS 10.11.1. I am running the same version of Firefox on another Mac and have not installed anything differently that what is on my old Mac and I am still able to log into my Google accounts from my older Mac. On the new Mac, once I enter my my Google password(s) the password page simply reloads. Other browsers on the new iMac do not have this problem. Can anyone out there recommend how to trouble shoot this issue?
