I have problems with gmail with firefox. Page refreshing is slow; drag and drop files into email sometimes don't work.

My problem is basically gmail related. When I click back to INBOX after reading a mail, it takes a good few seconds whereas in the past it has always been instantaneous.

My other problem is the drag and drop files as an attachment in gmail. Sometimes it just won't work and I have to use the manual paper-clip attachment icon. However, if I restart firefox and re-connect gmail, it will work again.

I also noticed that when you drag a picture into the mail window, it will not become an attachment but will be displayed instead. Is there someway where I can choose to have pictures inserted as attachments rather than displayed in the mail?

Thanks for your advice. I am unsure what will happen if I change my profile. I'm afraid I'll be someone else to those who know me.

So I have decided to try the second option on the plugin check. After I clicked the link the message says my firefox version is not the latest. I have updated it and so far, I don't have the drag and drop problem but let's give it some time and see. This problem did not happen all the time but it happened quite a few times so I guess I should try it for a while.

First try a new profile to make sure its not an addon or something that has been changed in the settings or that interactive webpages are working properly:
