Just recently upgraded Firefox to 30.0, the + button to add a new tab is no longer working and I cant seem to figure out how to get it to work. I'm not sure if it's the upgrade or settings on my computer.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
