ok, try if it works with these updated graphic drivers and HWA turned on: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21828&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%20XP%2032-Bit%20Edition*&DownloadType=Drivers

See if Turning off hardware acceleration helps.
>>> See if Turning off hardware acceleration
What for ???? May be turn-off the computer better? So Chrome, Opera, IE and all versions of Firefox up to 22 works correctly!
please turn off hardware acceleration as the-edmeister has suggested & restart firefox afterwards, since it will be an important step in diagnosing if your graphics hardware plays a part in this issue.
you should update your plugins urgently (some of them are out-dated & have security vulnerabilities that are actively exploited on the web)!
Yes, I see :-)
Infirst : YES, when hardware acceleration is "OFF" the problem is absent.
But:
- if Firefox is started when acceleration is "OFF" and after start of Firefox the acceleration is turned "ON", than Firefox works correctly.
- if Firefox is started when acceleration is "ON" and after starting of Firefox the acceleration is turned "OFF", than Firefox has black screen and "no answer".

can you go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information, copy the graphics section of that page and paste it here into a reply? thanks
