My preference for what to show when opening Firefox reverts to default on bootup.

This week I installed Firefox 26.0 on a clean computer running Windows 7. I set my preference for what to do when Firefox opens to "Show my windows and tabs from last time". Whenever I restart my computer, it has reverted to "Show my home page".

Chosen solution

You can reset browser.sessionstore.* prefs that are user set (bold) to the default value via the right-click context menu on the about:config page to make sure that Session Restore is enabled and working properly.

Thanks, folks. It was my security program causing the problem and I've now disabled that "feature" and it works great!
