Certain videos that i typically visit stopped working properly.

http://www.narutoget.com/watch/1101-naruto-shippuden-episode-327/

The first 3 tabs of those I used to be able to play, now the page loads, the video loads, even downloads, but i cant press the play button for some reason.

I have cleared cookies, cache, reinstalled flash, and reset firefox settings but that didnt seem to help I've searched the forums and help pages but cant find anything that helps. Any assistance guidance is appreciated, i can even upload a screenshot.

So after days of playing with this, i finally have figured it out. I had to create a new profile and it worked just fine..

So it must have been a setting somewhere....too bad i still have no idea where or what made it stop working.

Hello,

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.

You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Then perform these steps:

  • Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
  • In the Firefox options window click the Advanced tab, then select "General".
  • In the settings list, you should find the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
  • Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

Tried enabling and disabling graphics hardware acceleration.

Please keep hardware acceleration off, not just turning it on and off.

The video in the first start for me automatically without having to click a play button.

Do you see the context menu of the Flash player if you right-click in the player area?

Do you have problems with Flash on other website?
