Why am I suddenly getting pop-ups when I open any page?

Just last week I began receiving huge pop-up notices from familiar places - like my bank, Firefox, anywhere - and everytime - I open up a new page. My pop up blocker on Foxfire is engaged! So, that's not the problem. It's annoying and I don't understand it. A voice recording comes on and tells me some useless information.

Could I have a malware on my computer? Please advise. Thanks

hello, please try try to launch firefox in safe mode once in order to see if a malicious addon might be interfering here...

Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems

you also might want to run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
