Delivery status notification + mail downloading
Good evening,
since I upgraded to version 78, I've been experiencing two issues: 1) the "Delivery status notification" option doesn't work on one of my email addresses (it works fine on the others); 2) I don't receive emails from the pop3 server of another of my email addresses (I can download them regularly on my mobile mail app). I have already reported this to the relevant service providers, but they replied that the problems do not depend on their servers. Any suggestons? Are they bugs? Thanks in advance. Paolo Cutini

1) the "Delivery status notification" option doesn't work on one of my email addresses (it works fine on the others); The only purpose of DSN "Delivery Status Notification" receipts is to let a sender know when the recipient's server received the message.
Though, please note, that many servers are ignoring DSN requests partly as a measure to not auto respond to what may be spam.

2) I don't receive emails from the pop3 server of another of my email addresses (I can download them regularly on my mobile mail app). This might mean that the email server is still using a deprecated security (and on TB v78 the minimum requirement has increased tls 1.2.). Try to change for that account the connection security to "none" (restart TB) and see if it works... Read this answer in context 👍 1

Thanks for both the explanation in point #1 and the solution in point #2 (it works!).
Ref 2 - then this means your email service provider doesn't protect the email server (it's using a deprecate SSL). You should contact them on this regards to updated their SSL to 1.2. (which is the minimum requirement on TB v78 and that's why you had that issue).
