I have a filer set up to run periodically. I also have Filters set up to log. However the filter never runs periodically. Nothing in the log and I can see the task I wanted it to do isn't done. If I run it manually it works fine and I can see what it did in the log.

How do I troubleshoot this? Is there a log that'll tell me why Thunderbird isn't running filters periodically?

BTW - I'm running v 68.10.0 (32bit) on Win 10 Pro. Email accounts are all IMAP.

Just exactly what are you filtering? The exact statement is needed really. For example you can not periodically filter a folder other than inbox.

That explains it. It was running on the sent folder. Know of any workarounds/addons that allow periodic processing of folders other than the inbox?

Filters only run automatically on the Inbox. You can run them on other folders, but only manually from the Tools/Message Filters window.

You might get a "sort of" if you define the action for when you send mail. I think that applies to all mail in the folder, not just the mail you sent.
