When have an email conversation open , how to i keep the most recent email next to my typing

when i have an on going conversation on email , when i click reply, my typing is at the bottom of te screen & i have to keep scrolling up to the top of the screen to refer to the latest eail I received in the conversation

In the Composition & Addressing section in Tools/Account Settings, set 'When quoting' to 'start my reply before the quote' (see picture). Each account has its own setting.
