I just updated to Firefox 70. Several sites no longer function. Fast.com hangs. Facebook let's me log in, but then fails to load. Ebay login in is grayed out. Yahoo loads about half the page then hangs. Even the firefox site has issues. When I tried to establish a new Firefox Account it said my cookies were disabled. I followed instructions to set Enhanced Tracking to custom and unchecked cookies and no help. I then unchecked everything under custom, still no good. I even added Firefox.com to the allowed cookies exceptions and it still said my cookies were disabled. I finally set up a Firefox Account using EDGE! Please somebody help get Firefox 70 fixed or tell me how to roll back to the previous version. Thanks.

I am also having issues with FireFox since the update. Facebook no longer loads but 1/10th the page and Reddit also only loads a small portion of the page. It seems on some pages, after a while, it fails to load. I tried disabling all my extensions. Also while trying to come here it gave me an error and told me my cookies were disabled but they absolutely were not. All this happened after the latest update. Been using FireFox for over a decade without this kind of issue.

Privacy mode is a work around and one I'll use until enough people complain to make Mozilla aware of the issue. I've tried many things including deleting all my cache and disabling all my extensions but they had no effect on the strange behavior.

Good luck Mozilla, this is a real issue and I hope it'll catch your attention soon, you are soon to hear more about this every day.

I have other issues with FF70. Originally it would not update (see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1271253#answer-1261241) and I made the mistake of marking it fixed except for crashes once it updated from 67 to 70. Today it opened in 67 again, complete with the nag screen saying update but I must admit without the crashes. I am too old to mess with software that is not fit for purpose and FF70 falls into that category as far as I am concerned. Anyone got any good alternatives - NOT Chrome or MS - that is stable and auto updates?

When I go in Firefox it displays without change.

Investigating... If this doesn't go away, things are unexpectedly broken.

thanks yugiohmarco, it would be great if you could attempt to find out an exact regression range for this issue using the tool from https://mozilla.github.io/mozregression/ pointing it to your existing profile - this would greatly increase the likelihood of mozilla understanding and being able to quickly fix the problem.

if you need any help with this, please just ask. thank you!

I am a computer support tech. Several of my clients have the same issue. With Firefox v70, Facebook will not fully load. It loads the top bar & displays notifications. It is not possible to click on those notifications though. I have also had mention that Linked-in also does not work. Another customer mentioned that he is unable to download bills from his telecom provider (BT).

I have tried safe mode, cleaned the cache, cleared site cookies, tried an alternative browser (which works), run ccleaner, reinstalled Firefox 70. No change.

Common specs are Firefox v70 Adblock plus Windows 10 Webroot anti-virus

My own Firefox v70 works fine on both Windows 7 & Windows 10. Both with Webroot.

To my clients, this is a deal-breaker, several have already changed browsers & uninstalled Firefox.

hi nick46, you can refer to the solution in Some pages or page elements fail to load after updating to Firefox 70 - mozilla will also ship a fix for this in the coming days.
