Account Settings page is locked so no changes can be made; what next?
I want to change my account from POP to IMAP but no changes can be made in the account settings page. I'm trying to set up a new computer so I imported my profile. Could this have caused a problem?

re :I want to change my account from POP to IMAP but no changes can be made in the account settings page.
You cannot simply change the settings of a pop account to force it to be an Imap account. They are set up differently and stored in differnt locations within a profile. Do not attempt it.
You have to create a new existing mail account for the email address and set it up as imap.
re :Account Settings page is locked Can you offer more info? What do you mean by 'locked' ? What did you try to do and what happened?
re: I'm trying to set up a new computer so I imported my profile.
Please state exactly what you did.
Did you install Thunderbird first ? Did you install: Thunderbird windows 64bit version 68.1.2 OR Thunderbird windows 32bit version 68.1.2
When importing profile, what folder did you did you copy and where did you paste it ?
