reset applications open to which I did not subscribe
I checked troubleshooting and came across a list of applications - most are set at true except the addons/apps that I disabled. Do I have to have Bing, Google, Amazon, eBay, & Wikipedia (search is in the Mozilla address) set on True? Why?
Thank you.

In current Firefox releases the builtin search engine are extensions and you will see them listed on the about:support page, but not on the about:addons page (extensions manager). They can not be removed, but you can hide them via "Options/Preferences -> Search" like posted above. There are also special system extensions that add new feature or fix known issues that you see listed under "Firefox Features" on the about:support page.

Hi CiaoBella1,
Are you referring to the alternative search engines that appear below the search bar?
You can uncheck these by typing about:preferences#search in your address bar and unchecking the search engines under One Click Search Engines
You can also access the One Click Search Engines by clicking the '3-bar' menu in your Firefox web browser - > Options - > click Search on the left panel
Hope this helps!
Modified
No. My mistake - not apps, Extensions.
In troubleshooting, under extensions. List includes most that must be inherently for FF. Set to true. Can I set to false?
For instance: amazondotcom@search.mozilla.org
Thank you.
