Hello, Thunderbird's [Get Messages] button shows you notifications near the Inbox if you've received any new email.

However it does not display notifications for Junk E-Mails, therefor an email that you might receive might be automatically moved to junk and deleted without you even knowing unless you manually clicked and loaded the junk folder.

My question is, is there an addon or a feature or an option to get notifications for Junk folders similar to "Inbox" folders? I've got around 30 E-Mail on my thunderbird and it's hard to go through every junk folder manually every couple of minutes.

Thanks.

Chosen solution

Try this: right-click the Junk folder, Properties, check the box 'When getting new messages...'.

Amazing, this seems like exactly what I've been talking about. (Didn't test it out yet, but going atleast by the setting's description) thank you very much!
