I want to change the browser.cache.disk.capacity from 1 GB to 64 MB. I can change the above parameter in about:config, but after restart it is always at 1 GB again. How can I keep my setting?

Hello breg1,

If you set the value of this preference :

browser.cache.disk.smart_size.enabled to false, then the change you made will stick.

Cool, this works - thanks!

For the developers: I'd love to get the old options setting back. Maybe something like 'expert settings'. 'Advanced' does not really live up to its name.
