Imap mail accounts store all emails on server. Each imap mail account on each computer would see a virtual type of view of what is held on server. Imap mail accounts can see all folders by subscribing to see them. Imap mail account folders periodically synchronise with server to keep them updated. Imap mail accounts can download full copies of emails in order to view in offline mode. eg:If you delete an email via an imap mail account, it will get deleted off server and all other imap mail accounts will get updated when they synchronise with server.

Hey Toad-Hall Thanks. I have just deleted 2 files and sent a new mail from thunderbird on PC1.

At my PC2: in thunderbird - these changes cant be seen??? Should i make som configurations at the pc´s before the complete synchronisation would work? Witk regards Jens
