I subscribed to a professional website. When I attempt to fill a form on this website my previous business partner's email address and other information appears in the autofill dropdown as a choice. How do I clear all of their information?

I already cleared History (I selected the five boxes) and Data (two boxes) and closed the browser. Their information is still appearing when I return to the form.

Hi accionstrategies.

The data you are trying to delete is not stored with the history or general website data. You will have to delete the data from the Password Manager. To do this, follow the steps mentioned in this article.

I hope I could help. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

You can use these steps to remove saved items from an autocomplete drop-down list.

  1. click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
  2. highlight an entry in the drop-down list with cursor Down key
do not click the mouse or press the Enter key
  3. press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to delete the highlighted entry

Note that hovering with the mouse no longer works.

The solution you provided works but I figured it out three hours ago after spending two hours searching for the solution. I miss phone support. It would have saved me a lot of time. Most people would have given up much sooner than the time it took for me to find the answer. So much for quality customer service. Thank you for your response. Your time and expertise is appreciated. ~M
