How to get your download folder back
I downloaded a win rar folder after finishing downloading it automatically opened it self which I canceled because I was not ready to use it on getting to my download folder it was not there and I searched through out my laptop nothing came through

You should always check and make sure.
Note: Whether you download or view/run a file, it is downloaded. If you select just download, it should be saved to the download folder. If you choose anything else, the file is downloaded to temporary storage.
Note that after a time, temporary files are removed.

Did you select download, or open? In some cases: Once a program is run, it self deletes. An example is Adobe Flash installer.
Can’t really remember but most of the time it’s always at save file
