I have been watching the "classified" forum at IH8MUD.com for years and all of a sudden back in October I quit receiving email notifications that a post had been added. I have searched the website for any changes that could have been made but could not find any. The website Admin said it would either be my browser, email provider (att.net) or computer.

Since the issue is symptomatic to my laptop at work, and my home pc then that eliminates them.

I am about to eat a whole fried chicken and set my hair on fire if i can't get some HELPPPPP!!

Thanks to anyone in advance!

firefox is a Browser not a email program. For that you need to check your email provider settings.

Hello Shep2009,

Unless you use Thunderbird, would you take a look at this article and scroll down to Firefox :

https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/email-support/KM1094749?gsi=myyS1j8

'Hope that helps, cause : Setting your hair on fire : not a good idea. Eating a fried chicken  : very bad idea (none of this is the chicken's fault .... ).

Firefox is a web browser and displays what it is sent.

First, check with the sender. Have they sent you anything? Also, confirm your e-mail address on the site. And make sure your settings are to send you information.

Next, check your e-mail provider. Look thru all of the folders, including spam or junk.

thanks all for taking the time to help..I didn't think this issue could be a Firefox issue but since I am not the most educated in these sort of problems i thought I might just turn this rock over just in case...so all reading I agree with what has been said so no one else take your valuable time to answer...I still think it is on the sender end or with AT&T..but certainly not Firefox..and I have sent $$ to them in the past, albeit not lots, but this is a great group and I love Firefox...ok..oh, btw..I decided to keep my hair as is,,and instead of eating a whole fried chicken..I'll just settle to gnaw on a fat turkey drumstick...Happy turkey day to all and again thanks!
