Firefox dont start to download a pdf

Hi there, since some days i encounter problems with downloading pdf-files. I tried this link http://personendatenbank.germania-sacra.de/books and tried to download a file by clicking "PDF" at any of the links there. I wouldn´t work. I see the download in the history (strg-j) but there is no progress. I encountered the same problem at another site.

Is there a problem with downloadlinks beginning with http:// ???

In Chrome for example the link works without any problems

Hello Wolpertinger1968

I just opened the website, and it is working fine with me. Can you please check what is the action taken when clicking pdf links on your browser?

Click the menu button -> choose Options. Select the General panel and scroll down to the Applications section. Select the Portable Document Format (PDF) entry and check the action you like.

You may test "Preview in Firefox" to see if the link is opened inside Firefox or not.
