When I receive colleagues emails en mass mine stands out as being prefixed 'Me'. Of course I know that so why is it that this appears? Any ideas to get rid of it. It appears on all five of my email addresses.

What version are you using?

I remember seing this before, but at the moment I can't reproduce it (on TB 60). When an email in recipient ("To:"), CC fields matches your account email, it will display "Me".

You could try adding a contact in your address book with your email address, then use a name to your liking.

The very first blog post on ThunderbirdI wrote, back in 2010, adresses this and the information has not changed in that time.

Unfortunately the add-on I refered to at that time no longer works, so the option is to turn "pretty" naming on or off in options.

A link would have been good, as I did not include the location of the option. https://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com/2010/08/remove-you-from-your-mail.html
