How can one output or save-to-text saved passwords?

...history offers that if data is not 'saved' in 3 other places then it is not saved.

Passwords are saved in compressed java file so it is not possible. But you can open up Passwords and show all. then use https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-screenshots to take a picture and save them.
