The time is incorrect when sending out event invitations; happened on return from Europe; please advise how to fix this please

The date and time is correct on my computer display. However, the date and time is off by 6 hours, so I believe the calendar date and time needs to be reset but I don't know how to do this. Please help. Thanks.

Did you also change the timezone in the Calendar preferences ?

It's under Tools > Options > Calendar > Timezone.
