Since the last update Firefox doesn't display embedded pictures, but IE & Edge do. Why?
Firefox recently updated to the latest version (64 bit). Since then sites like skynews don't display the pictures on them - I get the frame and the picture title in words, but not the picture itself. I tried the 32 bit version but that is the same. Works fine if I use IE or Edge. I really don't want to go back to Microsoft but may have to unless there is a fix. I use Windows 10 (up to date) on an HP laptop.

Try to turn off the Tracking protection for that website.

Hi, Please uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) and C:\ProgramData. Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 58.0.2 with a Full Version Installer

That worked fine - thank you. Any idea what the problem was that we cured?

No idea. Would think that a file became corrupted or in a update there was packet loss.
Am glad it worked out for you. Could you Please Mark the Answer as the Solution please so others can find it.
Ah! Having worked fine for a short while, it is now back as it was - no pictures. It seems to be worst on the Sky News website - no pictures at all - and there are a few others where a few pictures are not showing but most are. I'm loathe to repeat the clean up exercise if it isn't going to work long term. Any other ideas?
