Have you tried this :

Control Center (Page Info) : click on the little 'i' in a circle at the left side of the address bar.

Then click on 'More Information' => Persmissions tab.

Scroll down to 'Open Pop-up Windows' => uncheck 'Use Default' and check 'Allow'

I went to that page, and at the bottom is says :

" When downloading documents in the catalogue please use Google Chrome or IE11. " ........

No change in behaviour. Being on an iMac, I don't have IE or Chrome, just Safari (does the same thing as Firefox)

The only thing I can suggest is to contact them - if they insist that you use IE or Chrome, there's nothing we can do about it .....  :-(

Yes there is. When I was on a PC, I supported The Proxomitron (http://johnsankey.ca/proxomitron.html). It allowed substitution of browser User-Agent by anything of the users' choice (I used to use AnyBrowser in defiance of sites that demanded IE). Firefox could offer the same functionality in support of an open web.

We, contributors, are (for the main part) volunteers, users just like you, trying to help other users in our spare time.

Maybe you'd like to submit your suggestion here : https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/FirefoxInput/

But who knows : maybe one of my fellow contributors knows how to allow substitution of your user agent .....
